Hiwi the Kiwi Story

It was in the middle of the day, a little boy with his dad went on a long fishing trip. They both put their fleuro life jackets on. They sailed out to the sea. They cast out their lines.

After two hours the dad felt a strong bite and reeled the fish in. He grabbed the fish with a wet towel.

The little boy's dad shouted,"wow this snapper is huge!"

"Dad! Don't take that fish home!" the little boy exclaimed as his dad almost put it in the chilly bin.

"Why not?" said his dad.

"Because Hiwi the Kiwi said that you can't take big fish because it can be a female and have eggs," the boy explained.

"Oh ok," the boy's dad said in a depressing voice as he pulls his arm back to throw his massive snapper back in the salty water.

"No!" the boy shouted,"Hiwi the Kiwi also said that you have to gently place the fish in the water because if you throw it, it can die."

"Ok," the dad said as he placed it in the water and they went home.

  1. Good story Jesse. I think you can make your story a little bit better by adding more descriptive words.
