On Wednesday the 28th of August 2013, our school performed at the Cultural Festival, there were 10 other schools performing. When we got to the CBS Arena the boys got their piupius on and the girls got their feathers on their head? I don't know what the girls did. Anyway, our school was the first on stage, which was a good thing because its good to get it over and done with. We also got to relax for the rest of the other performances. When we were backstage nerves were going through my body, when we were onstage the nerves stopped. The first song we sung was 'Toia Mai', in the third quarter of the song, us boys did the fierce Haka called 'Toia Mai', then after we finished that Haka we did our school Haka which was more fierce than the other one, the rest of the performance went great. I can't wait to go again next year!
