Cultural Festival 2012
On september the 4th was the Cultural Festivals 30th anniversary, it was bigger than i expected. Gemma off What Now and the guy off the Good Morning show was there.
My heart was racing. When we went on the stage our audience was silent, Burnham school haka group started off really strong, then the audience cheered us on which made me lose focus. Next I mucked up with the actions, I was so embarrassed! I thought everyone would make fun of me because, I mucked up. But luckily I don't think no one noticed anyway.
When we got back to our seats we watched the other schools perform. My favorite performance was the Cook Islands drumming and dancing, they were amazing. I liked the Irish dancing and the wearable arts, even though I didn't really see much of the wearable arts.
I had a really great day!!!
